    Week of July 10, 2006

Wow, time goes so fast! I have not been very good at keeping you all informed of the happenings at the lake, so here goes. This morning I walked out to go to work and right down my little hill was a doe and two little tiny twin fawns. I watched them for a few minutes and remembered what a special place I live in. It is beautiful at the Lake during every season of the year, but I have never had time to appreciate the beauty of this time of year. No wonder so many people come to enjoy it. By the first of August I will be renting the cabin out through Flying Arrow Resort. I will give more information out about that as it gets closer. Work is keeping me very busy. I did have 5 days off over the 4th and went down to the coast to visit with my sister Cheryl and brother David and my sister in law Annette, it was fun to be together since we are all so crazy. The weather at the beach was wonderful. I got to see Kelly on the way down, and Kelly and Peyton on the way back. It is hard to believe that Peyton is 3 months old already, Kelly is such a great mom, and is loving every minute of it. Kasey and Jacob finally were able to pick up their new puppy Ruby Tuesday, no not on Tuesday, that is her middle name, although, they may change it to Ruby Buffers since she buuufffs up on car rides. Kasey sent me pictures today at work, and she is sooooo cute. Things are moving right along in all of our lives, and yes I still love my job. The weather at the lake has been hot and beautiful during the day, but cooling off to very sleepable weather at night, actually just perfect. Nice to be able to see the daylight, and enjoy the time after work. Drexler has turned into quite a watch dog, that is very comforting. He also is quite sensitive to my moods, and tries to comfort me when I am down. Amy and Jason, it was great getting to meet you finally, and hope your trip home went well. Kelly and Kasey if you want to add onto this at anytime just let me know and I will let you know how. Anybody else, please write your comments and ask me things that I have to answer so I will keep on top of this blog.

Hey Keithanne, it was soo nice to FINALLY meet you too. It feels like I've known you forever, talking to you at the office and all, but it was really nice to see you in person. And now you know, though I am an airhead (Chris, Levi & Jason...SHUT UP! LOL), I'm not blond, LOL. Curly, but not blond. Hehe

What a cute story about your doe & her fawns. I am with you about appreciateing where you live. Like your place, there are things that aren't the best about it (CONSTANTLY drunk landlords who don't take care of anything around our place at all & don't show ANY responsability for their land, animals, and half the time kids. The place DESPERATELY needs new carpet and I think there are enough ants around here to carry even me off!) BUT there are some things that I REALLY enjoy about the place too...The sound of the river in the evening, the view of the pasture and house down the road at night especially under the moonlight, my flowers & patio).

I am glad to hear you are getting things cleaned out & ready in the cabin. DON'T doubt yourself about this move! I thinkit will turn out to be a VERY good one for you!!! G, I just might have to talk to you about that cabin myself now, HEHE!

I am soo glad that you are still liking your job too. You have been SOO great for Levi. I really don't know where he would be without you.

Well, I suppose I should shut up. I'm glad you enjoyed your time off. Hope to see you again soon.

    Take Care & GB Hugs,
    Amy

Oh P.S. I cant leave without thanking you for the laugh the other day. You know what I'm talking about. Make sure you have YOUR car close, LOL.

    Hugs again

Tell cynthia, levi and his sis thanks so much for helping you out. I wish I would have been able to help you on such a huge task. What great friends you have. :)

    I love you.
