    The New House

Hello everyone! It's Levi again filling in for Keithanne. Now that she is finally settled into her new place you will soon start seeing blog entries from her. It has been a hectic couple of months, let us tell you. She is pretty much out of the cabin, just a little here and there. Keithanne's new house couldn't be more comfortable. She finally feels like it is 'home.'

Daughter Kasey and her husband Jacob came in the final weekend in August and Keithanne had a blast seeing them as well as their cute puppy! Drexler and the puppy got along great.

Keithanne hyper extended her knee about a week ago and is spending this Labor Day weekend relaxing and trying to heal up. She has also had an annoying problem with her right eye that she is finally curing with some drops.

After healing up and resting, she will return to blogging soon! On behalf of Keithanne and myself, Take Care!

    Hey Mom,

I thought I would post a note to the blog after a few months.

Things are crazy, working a lot to catch up after four months of not working. And I am having the time of my life being the lucky mom of Peyton Bailey Russell!

Justin has been taking her on quite a few local hikes lately and last week we went to the Lower Lewis Falls in Washington, absolutely gorgeous. I don't know how someone could not believe in God when they look at the beauty he creates. This Monday I took the day off to spend 9/11 with my family and it was absolutely a wonderful day. We had a great breakfast at Shorty's Cafe on the way to Mt. Hood, Dad would have loved it! I hear the chicken fried steak is to die for. Then after a huge meal, we were off up the MT. We drove past the old cabin, and it looks like the people who own it now, are taking really good care of it and it looks great! Then we went on up to Timberline and then off to Frog lake where we relaxed for a bit and watched the frogs jump around. I think Peyton enjoyed herself.

Things are going great! Oh, Justin is working as a bartender and server at a new bar downtown Portland called the Thirsty Lion. He really is enjoying his job!

I think that is everything to catch you all up!

Love you mom, and to all that read this, take care of yourselves!
